Dr. Weida is a graduate of the University of Scranton and the Penn State 
School of Medicine. She received residency training at the University of 
Florida Shands Teaching Hospital and North Carolina Baptist Hospital

in Winston-Salem. Dr. Weida completed additional training in renal 
pathology. She is board certified in cytology. Dr. Weida joined Carolinas 
Pathology Group and Celligent Diagnostics in 1995, and directs the region’s 
only renal pathology practice. Her services extend to the areas of light 
microscopy, immunofluorescence and electron microscopy.
