William Ahrens, M.D.
Dr. Ahrens served as Administrative Chief Resident during his residency training in anatomic pathology at Yale School of Medicine, and went on to serve as a fellow in gastrointestinal and liver pathology at Yale. In addition Dr. Ahrens completed fellowships in bone pathology under Dr. K.K. Unni, and soft tissue pathology under Drs. Antonio Nascimento and Andrew Folpe at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He joined Celligent Diagnostics and Carolinas Pathology Group in 2007 to provide specialized services in bone and soft tissue pathology as well as gastrointestinal and liver pathology.
